Jenni Brown

As a year round  coach at Dominion Dive Club, I bring forty-one years of coaching experience. I excel at teaching skill development in a safe environment to all levels of diving. As a coach I strive to couple technical acuity with the exuberant feeling of jumping high in the air.

I grew up as a gymnast where I excelled in vault and tumbling. The thrill of the run and the jump! While playing at a public pool, I was spotted by a dive coach who invited me to a dive practice.  With the first jump from three meter, I discovered the sheer joy of flying high in the air without worrying about landing on that pesky four inch beam.  I was instantly hooked. Two years later, I was fortunate enough to be under the tutelage of legendary coach Julian Krug at the University of Pittsburgh where I was awarded “Big East Diver of The Year”. After University, I had the opportunity to travel the world with a High Diving Show (think circus).  I was the only female high-diver from 60’. I also performed fire dives from 10M and a trampoline show. So Fun!

You can be assured your children will learn the diving progressions within their individual ability. I look forward to teaching your children.

Kyle Comiskey

Kyle dove at Oakton High School and was a High School All American, junior and senior year. He also dove at Patriot Dive Club for four years at the JO level. Then, at East Carolina University, Kyle competed at Conferences every year.  During the summer right before his senior year of high school Kyle coached at Rolling Hills Swim Club. He was also head coach of Oakton Swim and Racquet for three consecutive summers when he was home from college. Kyle has been coaching with DDC since 2014, working with the Junior, Intermediate, and Advanced programs.

Kenny McAdoo

Kenny was a Division 1 athlete, diving for West Virginia University for 4 years.  He has been the head coach of the Fairfax Frogs for the past 15 years (where the team has grown from 20 divers to more than 70 divers).    Additionally, he has worked with some of the top divers in the state as the head coach at Fairfax High School (for 7 years) and at James Madison High School (for 3 years).  When Kenny is not on the pool deck you can find him hustling about as a real estate agent.  Kenny is working with the Advanced Junior Team and assisting with the Junior Team members.  Kenny is very excited to be a part of the Dominion Dive Club family and is eager to help the kids achieve their diving goals.

George Perdue

George has been coaching since 1990, starting with York Dive Club in Alexandria, VA.  His career has taken him to New Zealand, Florida, and Texas where he has been the Head Coach with each team there.  George has guided divers to nationals with each of his teams every year, with multiple top 5 finishers, and more top 10 placings.

His last eight years have been less involved with coaching as he is a stay at home dad.  While choosing to spend more time at home with his family, he is still coaching with Dominion Dive club a couple days per week.

One of his strong skill sets is his ability to belt spot divers over dry board, trampoline, and water.  He credits this skill to advancement his divers have been able to make over the years, as they can get familiar with new and scary dives in the safest way possible.

Ken Hansen

Ken Hansen dove with Oakton High School his junior and senior year, by his senior year he made to to the District, regionals and the state championship and also broke the school record. Then he went off to dive for patriot dive club at GMU where he started in intermediate and made his way up in to the JO team. Ken has coached two summer league teams, Cardinal Hill and Oakton Swim and Racquet Club. Ken has been coaching the Oakton Otters since 2011.  Ken also coach's for the Fairfax Park Authority program and Oakton HS Dive Team. This is Ken’s 2nd year coaching with DDC, he works with the Junior and Junior Advanced Teams.
